The South Central Roof Training Group was formed in 2007 as an independent training group, a limited company by the members.
The group will focus on providing support and training that is tailored to your individual needs and requirements.
Assisting to produce a fully trained, qualified and competant workforce for the future.
Members can call upon the knowledge of the Group Training Officer to carry out a full training needs analysis to help them produce a training plan and arrange the training that they require.
This will also assist them to comply with current legislation.
A fully trained workforce will increase the efficiency and profitability of a company and reduce accidents in the workplace.
CHAIRMAN
Welcome to Mike fildes who has taken over the role of chairman of the group. Mike has spent all of his working career in the roofing sector and is dedicated to training for the industry. Mike formed South Coast Roof Training in 2006, with the view of providing quality training for roof slating and tiling locally. With the ever increasing demand for training South Coast Roof Training became an National Vocation Qualification (NVQ) assessment centre for roof slating and tiling and as been sucessful in it's application to assess appied waterproof membranes.
South Coast Roof Training in conjuction with the South Central Roof Training Group now also offer a varity of short duration courses including:
Manual handling, abrasive wheels, The Ladder Association accredited training, PASMA tower scafffold training, Asbestos awareness Training, Safe working at Height, Lead Sheeting Association (LSA) accreited lead working courses.
